What a brilliant start to Becoming Your Best Self! Week 1 was all about reflection—taking the time to acknowledge who we’ve become in 2024, recognising our wins, strengths, and lessons learned.

🌟 Reflection Recap: Wins and Strengths
Reflection is a powerful tool for growth, and it’s been amazing to see so many of you embracing it fully. This week, we focused on:

  • Celebrating wins—big and small—to recognise the steps we’ve taken forward.
  • Identifying strengths that have supported our progress this year.
  • Turning challenges into opportunities to learn and grow.


Tribies’ Wins:

Beck: Day 3 / 28 Day Practice
This year my daughter has been an environmental leader for grade 6, this gave us the opportunity to swim with dolphins yesterday, such a gift to spend this special moment with her. I knew I was capable of snorkelling but had to work hard on confidence, wetsuits are unforgiving . Only two mums got in yesterday, the rest stayed on the boat. No change rooms and I had to pull that bad boy on in front of everyone. As I said to the crew that ran it yesterday, I can be the mum that does or doesn’t, I can stay on the boat or I can do it. I had a girl power moment with some of the instructors and cheers of yeerr! Love your attitude.
I would never ever miss this opportunity, I will treasure this moment with my daughter forever and the feeling of feeling ALIVE!!!

Sarah: Went shopping when my toddler brain was raging a tantrum for chocolate but adult brain looked at the saturated fat on the back of every packet that my hand automatically reached for and thought ‘not worth it, I want some nutrition’, came out of the  shop with nothing for my toddler brain and it was calm and quiet. Not even whimpering. Toddler brain skipped out, quite happy.

Home from holiday and back to usual programming!!!

How do I feel today - awesome!!
I had guidelines and a plan I crafted before my trip away that Lindell Pereira coached me with. I had the recording of the session that I replayed while I was away.
Today i keep doing what I was doing before the trip as normal as usual, no regrets, no shame no guilty sneaky thoughts of ‘should haves’, with an added bucket load of confidence and belief in myself!! My plan included all things I would add to my usual plan such as- high protein, low carb, vegies and fruit, black coffee, 7.5 steps min, strength training and movement, daily visuals of achieving my plan, planned exceptions and self care
I have provided evidence to myself that I can practice each day when on a holiday and my well planned guidelines supported me each day!!
So grateful today for creating this experience!

Sally: Dec 1 check in
Did some work on my Dec / Advent yesterday. It’s a reminder of self care and looking after me in this busy month.
This plan will go on my fridge or cupboard door. I give myself permission to move things around and add things. I will prioritise sleep this month.
A day on plan yesterday. That’s 3 good days.
I’ve woken early feeling hungry. So know I need to be mindful today. Sunday is a day that can creep for me.
Happy December. Deep breath - we’ve got this!

Amanda: Tuesday 2/28
I have been practicing being adaptable this year (well more notably the past few months). It’s a good job because you know when you have a plan (especially a good one) something often comes along to change it .
So today I was supposed to have Christmas lunch with a wonderful group of ladies but received a call yesterday afternoon offering me an appointment for my daughter that last week I was told we would have to wait 4-6 months for. Obviously I have grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
So today will be perfectly on plan.
We will hopefully be one step further along the road with my daughter and extractions/braces.
Both children will be collected early from school (bonus for them ).
We can check out the Christmas lights in the West End as that’s where the appointment is .Happy Tuesday

Angela: Checking in Wednesday 4th
Great 5days in U.K. not very in control of my meals and as expected scales were up.
But
Right back on it today and expecting the gain to be gone in a couple of fast plan days
I was so hungry today. Eggs for breakfast
Yoghurt with small pear, 5g Brazil nut and 11mixed seeds
Then hunger struck.
20g porridge
My planned dinner was sabotaged as no chicken in the freezer
So I had pulled pork on a bed of roasted peppers, mushrooms, onions
Cals for the day 1050
Kitchen closed 6.25pm
Zero alcohol
No formal exercise but lots of house work & washing.
Wednesday win - getting straight back on track

Starting Monday, we’ll step into visualising the person we want to become in 2025. This week is all about creating a vivid picture of your best self—her traits, habits, and mindset—and aligning your daily actions with that vision.

Here’s what to expect in Week 2:

  • A guided lesson on crafting your Future Self Blueprint.
  • Prompts to explore who your best self is and how she shows up daily.
  • Daily practices to start embodying her traits and habits.

Take some time over the weekend to revisit your Week 1 reflections and get excited about visualising the incredible future you’re creating.

💡 Tips for Success This Week:

  • Stay flexible. Life is busy—remember, even small reflections make a difference.
  • Use the Power Thought: “I am stepping into my best self today, one intentional action at a time.”
  • Share your wins and insights with the Tribe to inspire and be inspired.
