What a start to this 28 Days of Practice!
We're almost through our second week and there's so many of you clocking up wins and adding them to your Win Banks.
I want to share my own experience from these past 2 weeks with you.
First, I felt a wave of overwhelm hit me with all that is coming up over the next 6 weeks.
End of school year here, one son graduating primary school (needs to prepare a speech and autobiography), end of summer soccer season games and grand finals, high school orientation, Christmas (prepping for approximately 30 people Christmas Day, 20 people Boxing day), the usual routines, school holidays from 9th December... It all seems to happen end of year here and most likely for you too.
While I don't want to wish away this season of my life, I do want to be in a position where I don't feel so overwhelmed and can be present enjoying it all.
So I wrote out a calendar for the family and I put all that we have on, into the calendar. Then I stood back and felt even more overwhelmed. I let myself experience overwhelm for a couple of days (it's never a helpful feeling but I leant into it).
Then I looked at the calendar week by week and imagined what each week would be like. Once I did this I realised it's all very manageable and I don't even think we'll be tired. Just a few extra events here and there, and we have plenty of space to take some breaths and relax.
I also found what I taught on this weeks calls helpful in preparing myself for the weeks ahead.
Thinking about triggering moments and how I might help myself. Planning ahead, Breathing, Power Thoughts and Labelling my emotions. Plus what will help me show up to each day as the version of me I want to be; Self care (continue prioritising my planning, nourishing my body and mind with delicious food, movement and thought work), Power Thoughts and more Breathing.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed or anything but strong, confident and supported, watch the two replays from this week and set yourself up for the coming weeks. You're worth the time and effort.

This weeks Wednesday Wins Day had some awesome wins celebrated:
Sally-Ann N: Made cupcakes and didn't eat any. Went on a shopping day with a friend and had soup for lunch - NO cake. Still doing November with NO alcohol. Put all my fast days and base days on my calendar.
Sam L: Lots of wins, daily walking has become a habit, choosing to eat the food I've brought with me rather than takeaway or scones at work, listening to the replays while walking, keeping me motivated.
Sarah N: Learnt what self-respect actually means and have started showing up for myself better
JoJo H: My W-WINS When I have felt an urge to pivot and head towards an overeating moment I’ve been able to catch myself and tell myself ‘how interesting that I noticed…
I also included ice cream, baked homemade cheesecake and chocolate in my plan (not in the one day ) and my brain did not go to “eat everything as you will never get another chance” I felt calm and satisfied, even a little normal
Amelie F: On plan
Aimee M: Very quick check-in as I head to bed, a little later than intended watching the end of The Diplomat that I'm really enjoying being in my body, and I want to hold onto it! It's not 100% all day everyday the feeling, but it's pretty good and stable and that's a real success to celebrate
It’s these wins that remind us that progress is built bit by bit, and every small success is worth celebrating. Keep showing up for yourself and your goals—you’re doing amazing!

Final Thought:
As we move through these busy weeks, remember that every small step counts. Whether it’s choosing nourishing food, taking a moment to breathe, or simply being kind to yourself, each action is a meaningful step toward a stronger, more grounded you. As we practice and show up bit by bit, we build resilience for today and lay the foundation for the future we envision. Keep celebrating your wins, embracing progress, and trusting that every effort you make is valuable. You’re doing beautifully—keep going!
Sending you love and cheering you on.
