🎉 Week 1 Wins + What’s Ahead!

Hello, Lovely Tribies!

What an incredible start to the first 28 Days of Practice for 2025! 🎉 We’ve welcomed new faces into the Tribe, and the energy this week has been amazing. The conversations, shares, and support within the group are next-level—thank you for showing up so beautifully for yourselves and each other.

Here’s a little recap of this week and a peek at what’s coming up.

This Week: Laying the Foundations

Week 1 was all about getting started, settling in, and finding your rhythm.
Here’s what stood out:

  • New Tribies Jumping In: Welcome to our newest members! It’s inspiring to see you embracing this journey with open hearts and minds.
  • Plans in Action: Many of you shared your Fast, Base, and Exception Plans, and it’s been so encouraging to see the thought and care going into them.
  • Wins Worth Celebrating: From getting back into the habit of planning to noticing and managing hunger with the Hunger Scale, your progress is already shining through!

What’s Ahead for Week 2

Next week is all about building consistency. As we move forward, keep these tips in mind:

1️⃣ Revisit Your Plans: Take a moment this weekend to check in with your Power Up page. Do your goals, stepping stones, and plans still feel aligned? Adjust as needed.

2️⃣ Focus on Showing Up: Remember, progress is made bit by bit. Aim for 80%—it’s not about perfection, but practice.

3️⃣ Celebrate Small Wins: Each choice you make to honour your plan, reflect on your day, or redirect a thought is a win. Let’s celebrate those moments together.

Reflection Prompt:

Take 5 minutes this weekend to reflect on this question:

What is one thing I’m proud of from this week, and how can I carry that momentum forward into next week?

Feel free to share your reflections in the group—we’d love to cheer you on!

Tribe Highlights:

💡 Shoutout to everyone who shared this week! Seeing your goals, plans and wins has been so motivating for everyone. Keep it coming!

🎉 Wins from the week:

  • Nina: This week so far….Gave my leftover snack to the chickens when I was full and yet wanted to keep snacking. Stopping myself- a huge win. Wanted crisps- made air fried carrots instead.
Wanted a second helping of yogurt and seeds- opted for a Cara Cara orange instead as I try to incorporate more vitamin C Wanted a glass of wine/ not on plan and not great for flu recovery- and opted to a cup of tea.

  •

Elveen: Physio today, she’s very pleased with my progress. I now get to put gradient of 0.5 building to 1.0 on my run/walks.

  •

Sally: Even though my numbers aren’t where I want them to be. My self talk is positive- I’m happy with my body despite wanting to lose a bit now.
And my Fitbit app told me I needed to take it easy . This just made me laugh. Obviously a random setting is off. But it did make me smile.

  •

Cali: Managed my pain with breathing and not food... I'm waiting to get 2 knee replacements soon ... so pain is daily for me but yesterday was a breakthrough for me showing me even though it's hard, I can do it.

  •

Anita: Pleased with loss, with the last 7 days’ exercise and started swim lessons again today, I have booked a few days in Gibraltar to spend time with my husband, I’m focusing on me, that’s a win!

  •

    Jojo: WinsDay - YAY!!
My Wins - investing in myself by getting in some calls, coachng and learning.
Walked extra today for another 10 mins
3 days of 8k steps achieved
Prepared lunches and youghurt tubs for work each day in advance

  •

    Lindell: Wins Day woohoo
My biggest win is today and it might seem the smallest, but when my weight was up on the scales this morning I was able to create a positive mindset very quickly. I didn't let it affect my day in any way. And I had immediate confidence in my plan and the path I'm travelling. I used visions of my future self to motivate me.
    Other wins:
Did strength workout after putting it off all day and really not wanting to do it.
I'm getting so many ticks on my Streak Tracker. Have lot's of streaks running strong.
Got straight back on plan following a detour of more christmas cookies than I wanted to have.
Feel great, focused and love the lifestyle I'm living right now.
Being honest with myself and capturing truth in my planner. So valuable.
Down 1.2kg since last Thursday (didn't have scales with me Wednesday at my dads. I reckon it would have been higher than the Thursday weigh in so most likely down even more since last Wednesday.
    LOVE Wednesday Wins Day.
Feels good to give myself stars. Woohoo

  •

    Amanda: Wins
    Two great days
Had coffee while others were having dessert - didn’t even want a taste
Hit my steps goal all week (ok Monday and Tuesday so far but that’s technically all week as I’m not out of bed yet )
    Showing up to my plan

  •

    Angela: Big wins - back
on track after holiday and Christmas.
Did my first c2 5k since October.
    3.8lb (1.58kg) loss since Monday
    Reading my power up page
    Journaling.
    Feeling motivated, calm

  •

Sally-Ann: Back on plan after Christmas, tracked everything, scales now pleased with me!
No booze which means more sleep.
Listened to the first coaching call.
    Loving the tracking sheet.

  •  Lindell: Adding another win, did my arm strength session tonight after putting it off all day.

  •  Debby: Didn’t think I had any wins this week but whilst on my drive to look after my grandchildren I realised
    1) I’d stopped following fad diets
    2) I no longer eat because “it’s time
    3) I eat to a plus 4 rather than finishing my plate
    4) I can workout if I choose to
    5) I haven’t beaten myself up because I’ve not done my strength training this week
    IM PERFECT AS I AM

  •  Ruth: Eating to the hunger scale has really helped me. Substituted some normal teas with milk for herbal teas.

  •  Susan: Little wins - but wins all the same : I've signed up to a "strength building" course and have planned two sessions this week, I've been checking in, and I feel aware about what I am eating using the hunger scale

  •  Sarah: Enjoyed having batch cooked this week. It was a great feeling knowing meals were there ready to be enjoyed. Laughed in the face of snacking. Enjoyed the scale going downwards.

  •  Elveen: Didn’t feel like it, took ages to get out of bed but I gave myself space to feel blah then I got on and did my little run on the treadmill, my physio exercises and got on with the day.

Power Thought for the Week Ahead:

"I am becoming the person I want to be, one choice at a time."

Let this thought guide you as we move into Week 2. You’re creating the foundation for long-term success, and every small action matters.

Thank you, Tribies, for the energy, connection, and commitment you’ve brought this week. Whether you’re just starting or continuing the journey, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Have a fabulous weekend, and here’s to building on this momentum in Week 2!

Sending love and encouragement,
Lindell 💖

P.S. Don’t forget to hop into the group and share your reflections, plans, or wins. Let’s keep this vibe going!
