Happy Monday Tribies, 

At this time of year so many people have kicked off a New Years Resolution to get fit, healthy and/or lose weight. 

And by now (9th January) so many have already not lived up to their expectations of perfection and so have given up on themselves. 

Here in the Tribe you are learning to lose weight in a way that is different to all the other weight loss attempts you've had. 

You're learning to lose weight for the very last time. 

I want you to commit to your continued journey this year, perfectly imperfect, and to living the life you want to live. 

Make yourself proud and light up your life!

I want you to start by changing the narrative in your head. 

On last weeks Prima call I was reminded of one of the key things that Prima's have in common...they talk to themselves a lot. 

In their heads of course (although, I bet many of them talk out loud to themselves like me ha ha). 

So I want you to start or increase talking to yourself. 

You can have your very own cheerleader cheering for you at every step, having stern words with you when you think about eating off plan, coaching you and supporting you along your journey. 

All you need to do is decide you want to be kind and supportive to yourself and then practice whenever you remember. 

Put post-it notes around your house if you need to remind yourself. 

Here's an example of talking to yourself:
You're in the car on the way to work you say (even if you never eat until after 11am) "well done you, you've had a cracker of a morning sticking to plan, keep it up"

Or

Thinking about eating chocolate while you sit on the lounge watching a show after dinner "oh hey there brain, I hear you've got some chatter happening. Thanks for whatever you're offering but we're not doing chocolate tonight. It's not on my plan and I'm not deviating today".

That's just 2 examples, I could give you thousands. 

Anyway, you get the gist. 

Get talking to yourself and get supporting yourself. 

 

(I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your understanding and acceptance of my change of date for the Last Start Challenge. 
I was confident with my decision to delay the challenge a week but your kind words of support really helped me feel like my full human self was enough and accepted by you all.

 We've delayed the Last Start Challenge by a week so this week is a week of you practicing living the life you want to live.

Use the 6 Step Process:

1 - Know what you want
2 - Set a plan
3 - Train your brain
4 - Allow your feelings
5 - Show up to your plan
6 - Evaluate and Celebrate.
