Tribe News - 5th September 2022
Happy Monday Tribie,
This week I want us to spend some time thinking about the mindset shift that happens from when you commit to your last start and when you get to goal weight.
When you are wanting to get started, restarted or have just begun your last start, you might be thinking:
- I'm disappointed I let myself get to this point
- I feel so bloated and tired
- I'm a confident person but I'm not living my fullest life
- I know what to do, I just need help
- I want to lose weight and be an example for my kids
- I want to feel like my true self
- I want to make myself proud
- I shine bright but I want to shine even brighter!
Once you get to goal weight and have really mastered the practice of maintenance you will likely be thinking:
- I'm confident I can maintain when I practice the process
- The answer is always in my thoughts
- I feel great and have so much energy
- I'm so proud of myself
- I can wear anything in my wardrobe and I feel amazing
- I control food, it no longer controls me
- I have freedom from food
- I want to keep living life this way, keep making myself proud, keep shining SO bright.
You might be thinking "I know this Lindell but HOW do I get there?"
I want to remind you that the way for you to get to your goal weight and learn how to maintain is to learn the process and keep practicing it.
To commit to massive action (which is just never giving up on yourself until you achieve your goal) and to be your own best friend.
To train your brain bit by bit and by the time you get to the Goal weight brain you wont even have noticed the changes happened.
In the Tribe we use:
The Core 4: Fasting, Insulin stabilising Mediterranean style diet, Water + Sleep - Stress, Portion Caution.
The Process:
- Decide what you want and own it
- Set a plan
- Train your brain
- Allow your feelings
- Show up to your plan
- Evaluate and celebrate
The Backstage area where we have so many tools that help you practice the process.
- Your 3 Plans (Fast, Feast, Base)
- The Pause Method
- The Mindset Model
- High Weight Cycle Vs Low Weight Cycle
- Hunger Scale
- Hello Scale
- Tedious But Powerful Worksheet
- Monthly Power Up Worksheet
- 2 Great Days
Plus our 4 Weekly Group Coaching Calls, amazing Tribe Community on Facebook and so much more Backstage.
The way for you to make easier and permanent weight loss is to learn these tools and continue to practice the process.
When you find yourself NOT practicing the process you just start practicing it again.
That's it.
Next week we begin our next 28 Day Boost.
28 days of using the tools and practicing the process to make progress.
Remember, we're not trying to be perfect (there's no robots here), we're learning and relearning the tools, applying them and reapplying them, practicing, practicing, practicing.
I guarantee that I can help you overcome any and every single obstacle that pops up on your journey from where you are today to where you want to be maintaining your Prima goal weight.
So keep showing up for yourself, keep doing the work (seriously y'all this is key) and keep chipping away, bit by bit until you have created a strong mind for yourself that has complete freedom from food, plus a strong emotional maturity that empowers you to live your life as your best self.
I love you all so much and continue to be committed to supporting you through your personal transformation.
Let's light up your life - even brighter.
And let's have some fun along the way.

Last Week:
It's been a wonderful week of 2 Great Days, the Weekend Warrior AND our Monthly Jive For Five.
Our Tribe is designed for you to use it in the way that works for you. You don't have to participate in everything, you don't have to post publicly, or you can do everything and post everyday. You get to decide what works best for you.
AND there will never be such a thing as taking up too much space in out Tribe.
I want you to shine as bright as you can, unapologetically, in all areas of life. And the best place to practice that is our Tribe.
Our Monthly Coaching theme has been Self Concept. Your thoughts about you.
Week 1 we explored an introduction to Self Concept.
Week 2 we looked at our thoughts about ourselves in the past, our past self.
Week 3 we focused on our present self concept. We dug into uncovering any thoughts that might be holding us back and we began to create a strong self concept plan that will help you progress to goal weight.
This week we'll create our Future Self Concept. This is key to help set us up for maintenance and living life at our goal weight.

Coming Up:
This week is a standard week of practice as we get ready for our 28 Day Boost starting next Monday 12th September.
Practicing the process.
Anytime you're feeling like you're not on track or things are not going well, come back to the process and find which step you can take to help you.
π Decide what you want and own it - Do you know your goal? Why are you wanting to achieve that goal?
π Set a plan - Are you setting a plan each day?
π Train your brain - Do some thought work, uncover thoughts that are holding you back, find thoughts that will help you move forward.
π Allow your feelings - Pause, breath and notice how what you're feeling in your body. Do this for 30 seconds (longer if you have time). Continue on to process an emotion if you are ready to do that step.
π Show up to your plan - Track what you are doing each day, notice if you're in a high weight cycle or low weight cycle, collect information from the cycle you're in.
π Evaluate and Celebrate - Ask yourself what's working, what's not working, what do you want to do differently. Celebrate what's working and that you are choosing to continue on your journey.

Tribie Spotlight: YOU!
I was sitting hugging my 9 year old and I said "I love you so much, I'm so lucky you're my son! I'm so lucky Louis is my son and I'm so lucky dad is my husband."
And he said "and you're so lucky you are you".
πππ
So this week I want us all the shine the spotlight on ourselves.
To be grateful and proud of who you are.
You can do this a few different ways:
1) Pause, close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths with your hands on your heart and sit there thanking yourself for what you want to recognise. Acknowledge all the things you want to be and already are, and find 3 things about yourself you are grateful for.
2) Write a list of all the things you're proud of yourself for.
3) Do either or both 1 and 2 and share it with the Tribe. (It's my dream that we become an even greater place to show up for ourselves unapologetically and take up space).
4) Share with your family what you love about yourself and what you're proud of (you can do this by encouraging them to do it first if it feels too uncomfortable for you to go first).
