Tribe News - 1st August 2022
Happy Monday Tribies,
We're entering week 3 of the 28 Day Boost and this week we're practicing Actions. Taking small bite sized action and taking MASSIVE enormous action.
This week our coaching will be focussed on the A line of the model and how important it is. We can think all the thoughts in the world but if we don't take action we'll not achieve our goals.
If you think by joining the Fast Mama Tribe you'll get to goal weight you won't.
If you join the Fast Mama Tribe and take NO action you'll be where you were before you joined.
It doesn't have to be enormous action, 1% improvements will get you to goal.
Amanda and I are both looking forward to our Group Coaching calls on Action this week. If you are unsure of the time for you check the 'whats on' section of our Backstage area here: www.fastmamatribe.com/whatson
This Week:
This past week we in our Group Coaching calls we covered Allowing Feelings. We walked you through our Pause Method which is a 3 stage process to help you practice feeling your feelings, and we coached a bit too.

Tribie Spotlight: Suzi Kirkham
It lights me up to see Tribies like Suzi doing the thought work and feeling work.
A massive well done Suzi for the effort and practice you're putting in. The lessons you're learning and the experience you're gaining will set you up for maintenance.
Here's Suzi's recent celebration posts. Far out I love so much to see a woman celebrate herself. So proud of you Suzi.
"I'm celebrating 10 kg down today! This is day 25 of the Fast 800. In my first three weeks I had breakfast at 11 am and my dinner by 8 pm. This week I've begun fasting from 8 pm till noon and have dropped to two meals, still 800 calories though. My loss has slowed this week, so far only 1 kg. But it's still a loss and I'm so happy with where I'm at. My skin is looking better, I have more energy, the bags under my eyes are lessening and I'm feeling in control. I am looking at my water intake and increasing it today in the hope that perhaps that is what is holding me back now.
My next step will be exercise. This is scary for me. I know I need to do it, but I don't know where to start and I'm not great at doing things on my own, I lose interest and make excuses. Doing exercise in community is what will get me going. I'd love to hear what others do to tone up and get fit."
"The win I’m celebrating today is redirecting myself last night. I was driving home from a weekend away and realized I hadn’t planned food for my return on Sunday evening. I was craving pasta carbonara and had almost convinced myself that I would order some with Uber Eats. But I thought about my future self and realized that although my current self would get a few minutes of enjoyment, my future self would be disappointed. So I made myself yummy scrambled eggs with garlic, ginger, tumeric and fresh coriander on wilted spinach. It was satisfying (I actually wasn’t hungry at all) and nutritious. I’m learning that it’s great to have plenty of fresh veg and herbs in my fridge. And although I haven’t stuck to plans all weekend (I added some extras) I have maintained my loss to date so it’s all good."
A massive well done Suzi, keep shining bright my friend.
