A note from Lindell:

Happy Monday Friends,

How are you? (please pause here and check in with yourself. Take a couple of slow deep breaths and ask yourself "how am I?". "Fine" is not an acceptable answer. If you hear yourself say "fine" question it. What does that mean? How else could I describe myself?).

I've had a lot going on here and over the weekend I paused to ask myself "What do I want? What do I really want for myself?.

I've answered these questions so many times and usually have similar answers each time.

I was getting to the point of believing "I know what I want so I no longer need to ask myself, I just write down the answer and keep reminding myself to go after it".

However, that belief will deny me the space to choose (even if it's the same choice each time) and deny me the opportunity to change.

So I paused and sat with the question "What do I really want", I questioned my answers and decided I want to keep asking myself "what do I want" and allowing myself flexibility to change it. (I also had a long list of other things I want which was similar to my usual list).

The point is in gifting yourself the practice of pausing and considering "what do I want".

The key here though, and the one guideline to follow so our cheeky brains don't run wild with instant gratification, is to place a '24 hour barrier' between your answer and your implementation.

Just like in planning.

In your planning you want to be deciding 24 hours ahead of time what you want your plan to be. And you want to not allow yourself to change that plan unless it's 24 hours ahead of time.

If you feel restriction or deprivation in your body when you read that sentence above, either change the language you use (I like to call my plan 'Guidelines' which is a bit more flexible but still keeps me living how I want to live (lunch is protein and veg no starchy carbs)) or come and get coached.

We're training our brains to think differently so we get different outcomes to what we've always gotten. As you grow, your answers may change. Gift yourself the regular practice of asking yourself and considering "what do I really want?".

FIVE DAYS starts tomorrow - Tuesday 20th June (previously called Fast 5 Challenge).

This is a members only event.

It's 5 DAYS of practice.

Practice is how you create the life you want to live.

This doesn't mean depriving yourself through these 5 DAYS.

It doesn't mean knuckling down, gritting and grinding your way to day 5 then taking a breath and eating all the things on day 6.

Our 5 DAYS of practice using the 6 Step Process, using the tools of the Fast Mama Program and practice living life intentionally.

It means imperfect progress, compassion and consistency while working towards a life of freedom from food.

The 6 Step Process:
1 - Decide and know what you want
2 - Set a plan
3 - Train your brain
4 - Allow your feelings
5 - Show up to your plan
6 - Evaluate and Celebrate

Guarantee progress by using these steps.

Get your planner here if you haven't already been using one (don't judge yourself, just start using it): www.fastmamatribe.com/products/masterclasses-mini-courses/categories/2152805950/posts/2167401928

Be perfectly imperfect.

Have Compassion and persistency.

Stand tall and shine bright my friend.

To keep it as simple as possible you can focus on Check Ins.
When you follow the check in steps below you will set yourself up for an 'intentional' 5 DAYS.

2 Check Ins each day.

Morning check in:
Share your plan for the day (or you can just confirm you've set your plan).
Share 1 or 2 thoughts you'll practice for the day.
And any other information you want.

Evening check in:
Share how your day went,
Share if you think you're in a Hight Weight Cycle or Low Weight Cycle
And what the main 2 thoughts you used during the day were.

Example:
Morning Check In:
I've got my plan set for today. 15 hour fast, zucchini and eggs for breakfast, yoghurt and berries for lunch, Butter chicken and veggies for dinner. 2 coffees. 2 cups of tea. Water. 8 hours sleep. 40 minute movement.
Weight =
I'm practicing the thoughts "I've got this" "I can do this" and "this is how I want to live".

Evening Check In:
Good day today. Stuck to plan 90%. Had some nuts on my yoghurt.
I think I'm in a Low Weight Cycle, I feel ease.
Thoughts that helped me today and which I think have created my low weight cycle are: "I want to feel amazing" "It's 5 days" "I've set my plan and I'm practicing being someone who shows up to their plan".

That's it. Focus on 2 check ins a day. Do the 3 steps for each check in and you will have a week of progress.

Make the effort.

Commit to yourself.

And...

Light up your life.

Love Lindell xo

Tribie Spotlight: Amelie Frie πŸ’›

Hi ladies!I’m here doing my thought work and trying to remember to process my emotions. Feeling so good when I’m on my plan and like πŸ’© when I’m not. One would think that alone would make it effortless… I’m going to keep showing up, “better than average” is always the goal πŸ’ͺ🏽

My best friend that I’ve known since I was 3 years old is visiting from Australia. Haven’t seen her in 9 years. We’ve had such a fantastic time and I’ve navigated it in the best way possible. Enjoying  late nights out πŸ₯‚πŸΈπŸ’ƒπŸ‘―‍♀️. I’ve made choices that serve me most of the time.οΏΌ +1 kg and memories for life. And now 5 days later the kg was lost.

Midsummers Eve is coming up next week here in Sweden. My favorite holiday. Suns up all night, πŸ₯‚πŸ“πŸ€Έ‍♂️ spent with our favorite friends ❀️

Saw this post and wanted to share it with you πŸ‘‡πŸ½Have a great Sunday

What's On:

Our Monthly Jive's are back! πŸ’ƒπŸ₯³πŸ’ƒπŸ₯³

What is it? you ask.
The last weekend of each month we hold our Monthly Jive.

It started off as a walk or run for 5km and has turned into whatever works for you (like all things in our Space).

Where ever you are, however you can, choose an activity and get moving.

I encourage you to choose something you don't usually do, you LOVE doing but don't often make space for or something out of your comfort zone.

Anything that has you living 1% more intentional than your average.

Many of us wear yellow t-shirts, and many just wear what we want (whatever works for you).

It's surprisingly motivating to see other Friends all around our world stepping up for their Monthly Jive. So if you want, snap a pic (or record a video) of yourself (or your scenery) on your Jive and share it with our group.

The purpose of our Jive is to do something you wouldn't normally do, get out there and live your life.

Let's have some fun and,
Light up your life!
