Lindell's 30 Day's Of Practice - Day 12/30

Day 12 - feelings content. 

I was just messaging a friend and went to type "I'm SO busy between now and next year, I've got SO much to get done". As I was typing it I felt a wave of tightness and speed go through my body. I realised what this thinking has been creating for me. It's not useful. 

C - Life
T - I'm SO busy, I've got SO much to get done before xmas. 
F - pressure, speedy, adrenalin
A - Sit and drink a coffee, think of all the things I have to get done, think of how tired I'll be and already am, decide to delay getting my day started by 5 minutes, 10 minutes....
R - Don't get as much done but also the whole time is spent living in a stressy high energy adrenalin state. It's not good for me or my family. 

C - Life
T - I've got my list, my plan, I'm going to turn up the music and dance through the season creating memories and fun along the way. Whoop whoop.
F - carefree and fun, aligned
A - let small things roll off my back, focus on the important things, become a much nicer person to be around, get my list done, have fun during the season.
R - live this season intentionally. 

-200g today. I need to calculate where I'm at with my -2kg goal. 

Ok I'm -300g. Got -1.7kg to go.

Oh saying that over and over is super helpful. 

I just realised I've got a whole 18 days to get there. So good. It feels spacious and luxurious. 
It's not my final goal once I get there. I'm going to want to set another goal as I was a bit higher than I wanted to be when I started the 30 Days of Practice. But the -1.7kg will get me well on my way and it's so helpful to focus on just -1.7kg than the bigger goal. 

Plan for today: 
2 coffees, 2 teas, lunch is chicken and salad (maybe nori wrap). 
Dinner will be protein and veggies. We're eating from the freezer this week and next so eating a fair bit of meat. We get a delivery from our farmer every month with meat and it comes today. We haven't been getting through each months order because we don't usually eat so much red meat but really want to get through it this year ha ha. Next week I want to add more fish and some beans to the menu. 
Yoghurt and berries if I'm hungry (thanks to yesterday's lesson I want to put that on the plan although I didn't need it and perhaps it's on my plan as a comfort blanker? interesting.)
Chocolate after dinner. Fava beans if I want. 
So pretty much the same plan as every day ha ha. 
Lot's of water today.

Thoughts: I breath and live how I want to live. 
I've got my list and plan, I've set myself up. 
I'm ready to create an amazing day for myself. 
Let's dance baby!

Feeling: Empowered, supported, rhythm, fulfilled.

Forgot to say it's Day 1 of my monthly cycle. Not sure why I want to mention that ha ha. There it is.

Lunch at 2.20pm (forgot to eat before Amanda's Group Coaching Call #2). Had yoghurt and berries with coconut flakes because ran out of time to prep anything else. 
Will have an egg or some chicken if I get hungry before dinner. 
Feeling calm and satisfied. 
I did have a minor brain tantrum over some mixed nuts but did an urge blocker and I'm calm again. 
Water intake is great, energy levels are great. 
Hunger scale +2. Feeling good. 

Got a big afternoon/evening of painting. I really want to get the offices painted tonight.

 

Just came in from painting both office ceilings in 1 hour. 
My brain "well done, let's pour a glass of wine and get dinner cooking". 
Me "whoa, hold on there brain, we can sit and feel proud then cook dinner, no need for the wine old fella". Ha ha gotta keep it fun hey. 

Off to cook dinner.

Dinner was chicken fried rice. I cook up a batch with cauliflower rice, take my serving out, then add rice for the kids and hubby. 
Had 1 chocolate after dinner and went out to paint the offices. I got both ceilings done so the electrician can put the lights in today (and we don't have to paint around them after). Didn't get the walls done but we can take the switch plates off and paint easily. So got the most important part done. 
I was SO tired and aching after that I went to bed at 8.30pm.
