Tribe News - 29th August 2022

Happy Monday Tribie,

Grab yourself a cup of tea and settle in to read what I want to share with you today.

Last week I joined a 3 day Live Event for a Group Coaching Mastermind I've just joined (it's a business mastermind that I believe will help me create better, faster and more permanent results for the Tribe). 
It's a 6 month program I've paid $35k for. 

Yep, I feel so nervous sharing that with you and still feel nervous about spending that money.
 
I spent a similar amount on my Coaching Certification and I believe I received 100 times that value in terms of changing my life and those around me since becoming certified.

The 3 day event last week was in Disneyland (or is it Disneyworld? I never know the different) in Orlando. I attended virtually and the session times for me were: 10pm-3am then 4.30am-8.30am. (that's why one of my Jives was 25 hours of sleep in 48 hours.

This morning - Monday morning, after the big event last week, I sat down to get some work done. I felt pressure, tightness and resistance. 

So I paused and did some self coaching. Here's what I came up with:

Unintentional Model

C: Monday morning the week after 200K Live Event
T: This is it!, Day 1, make it count!, Don't waste time!
F:  Pressure and tightness
A: Go make a coffee, find activities to relax me - I know I won't produce great work in this state (sneaky brain), look for 'fun' work to start me off, consume more lessons to feel productive
R: Don't make valuable progress

Intentional Model

C: Monday morning the week after 200k Live Event
T: Deep breath, let the magic flow, Let's create the thoughts that will create value for my clients, I've set an amazing plan for today, showing up to it will be the intentional progress I want to make.
F: Intentional, purposeful, calm
A: Self coach, ITC, Open calendar and get started on my well planned schedule
R: I make the progress I want to make.

 
It got me thinking about Monday Morning for you. What thoughts do you have and what are they creating for you? How are you setting yourself up for the week. 

If you've been practicing any form of the thought "I'll start Monday", you are very likely creating a whole lot of pressure for yourself when Monday comes around. 

Here's what it could look like for you:

C: Monday Morning
T: I told myself I'd start again Monday so I HAVE to start! If I don't I'm a failure and it means I'll never get to my goal weight, I'll never change.
F: Pressure, disappointment ahead of time, fear
A: Set a very strict plan, try to 'catch up' to where you were before you went off plan, aim for perfection, believe you shouldn't have cravings or urges and if you do the 'diet' isn't working, have very high expectations of yourself - food HAS to be prepared, you HAVE to have shopped etc.
R: Decide you're a failure the moment you aren't perfect - you don't start Monday

Right now, pause and capture your thoughts for today and the week ahead. 
Do some models and see what they are setting you up for this week. 
Then do an Intentional Model, create thoughts that will serve you this week. Thoughts that will create progress for you πŸ’›.

Here's an example Intentional Model:
T: Here I am Monday, ready to make imperfect progress, let's go - cha cha cha πŸ’ƒ
F: Ready, calm and maybe a little excited, lighter
A: Write down a realistic plan if I don't already have one, do more thought work (thought downloads, models), schedule a moment in my day to pause and feel my feelings, get my day started.
R: Get back up Monday, make progress.

 
The process that will get you to goal weight and have you live there will always be:
Decide what you want and own it
Set a Plan
Train your brain
Allow your feelings
Show up to your plan
Evaluate and Celebrate

When you follow the process, come back to the process, work the process and make the process work for you, you will make progress.

You will get to your goal weight.

You will have the confidence that you will be able to live life at your goal weight too.

P.S. I still have some mind drama going on about sharing the cost of the Mastermind. I'm choosing the thought "we're worth it! The Tribe and I are worth that investment". And I 100% believe that to be true.

Last Week:

 It's been a wonderful week of 2 Great Days, the Weekend Warrior AND our Monthly Jive For Five. 

Our Tribe is designed for you to use it in the way that works for you. You don't have to participate in everything, you don't have to post publicly, or you can do everything and post everyday. You get to decide what works best for you. 

AND there will never be such a thing as taking up too much space in out Tribe. 

I want you to shine as bright as you can, unapologetically, in all areas of life. And the best place to practice that is our Tribe. 

Our Monthly Coaching theme has been Self Concept. Your thoughts about you.
Week 1 we explored an introduction to Self Concept.
Week 2 we looked at our thoughts about ourselves in the past, our past self. 
This week will be focused on our present self concept. We'll dig into uncover any thoughts that might be holding us back and we'll create a strong self concept plan that we can practice, that will have us being the version of us we only dreamt was possible.
Next week we'll create our Future Self Concept. This is key to help set us up for maintenance and living life at our goal weight.

Coming Up:

This week is a standard week of practice. 
Practicing the process. 
Anytime you're feeling like you're not on track or things are not going well, come back to the process and find which step you can take to help you. 

πŸ’› Decide what you want and own it - Do you know your goal? Why are you wanting to achieve that goal?
πŸ’› Set a plan - Are you setting a plan each day? 
πŸ’› Train your brain - Do some thought work, uncover thoughts that are holding you back, find thoughts that will help you move forward.
πŸ’› Allow your feelings - Pause, breath and notice how what you're feeling in your body. Do this for 30 seconds (longer if you have time). Continue on to process an emotion if you are ready to do that step. 
πŸ’› Show up to your plan - Track what you are doing each day, notice if you're in a high weight cycle or low weight cycle, collect information from the cycle you're in. 
πŸ’› Evaluate and Celebrate - Ask yourself what's working, what's not working, what do you want to do differently. Celebrate what's working and that you are choosing to continue on your journey. 


Our next 28 Day Boost starts Monday 12th September. DO NOT use this as an excuse to give up and eat all the things until then. 
Keep going and keep growing, keep creating and living your best life.

5 Day festival camping, I volunteer with my husband. Ran both mornings so far 3 miles each time. Pretty pleased and hoping that will keep the status quo as food is what it is. 

Day 3 of festival and my 3rd run completed another 3 miles. Lots of walking and Dan icing on top

Had an all day paddle on the Willamette River with my husband and dogs on the hottest day of the week. Glorious!

You ladies are shining SO bright! Well done to each of you and every Tribie who got out there and did something for themselves this weekend.
