I do this evaluation often (in all areas of my life) and always find gold in it.
Last week I encouraged you to practice 2 things:
This week I want to encourage you to practice 2 things:
- The hunger scale
- Feeling your feelings.
How's that going for you?
If you didn't start, get started today. These 2 practices will change your life (and I'm not being too dramatic when I say that).

It can be helpful to see how imperfect I am. I also shared my weight chart today hoping to help any of you who think weight should do a certain thing π.
This week I want you to continue to practice with a focus on what makes you feel great. What are the things that fill you up, refuel you and help you shine bright?
They won't all be foods. I want you to create yourself a list that you can look at this week.
Here's my light up list:
- Fasting
- Water
- Swimming
- Yoga and pilates
- Walking
- Coffee
- Listening to music
- Hugging
- Sitting in the sun
- Eating to a +4 or 5 on the hunger scale
- Eating vegetables and fruits, proteins and great fats
- Indulging in fine food and drink with special people (and stopping at a +6 on the hunger scale)
- Deep breaths
- Self coaching
- A hot cup of tea sipped slowly on the lounge
- Reading a romance novel
- Catching up with friends
- Time in my garden
- Doing work I'm proud of
What a list. That lights me up just writing it up.
Get yours done and light yourself up today and this week.
Let's do more of the things on our light up lists and live life in a way we love.

"10/3/23 check-in. Weight was the same today as yesterday but I'm OK with it. Still want to lose half a pound before Tuesday. I had a surprise early birthday celebration with a few friends this morning and there was birthday cake, specially gluten free for me. I had the cake and enjoyed it and I'm now going to listen to my body to tell me when I need to eat again, and it'll be keto for the rest of today. *So* much better than my old self, who would have decided "I've blown it for today and I'll just eat anything I like for the rest of the day" So grateful to Lindell Pereira and Amanda for helping me with brain training for that!"

"Fri-yay! Down 3lbs since last Friday. Interesting because if you’d asked me I would have said it was only 1lb! Funny how the mind plays tricks on you “your sticking”, “the last few pounds are difficult”, “maybe you should go stricter”. Hmmm I think not sneaky brain … this works and continues to work! Got friends coming over for an Indian takeaway tonight - I will order the tikka chicken and have mine with cauliflower rice. I might also order a veggie side dish … and I will be drinking alcohol free things. I fitted in a 5k training run and a faster speed last night (in the hail!) Happy Fri-yay Tribies!"

"Friday check in. I've been planning, going off plan, tweaking, and living. And have seen some great progress in my mindset and on the scales. I am 700g off my first significant goal. The one I told myself once I reach I will have made it, because it's so hard to lose weight. I've learned that it hasn't actually been as hard as I expected, because of the mind work through fastmama. Don't get me wrong, it has been hard, at times, but as I continue practicing, the feeling of it being hard, doesn't go for as long. I might not reach this first big goal by end of March (12kg loss starting in Oct), as I have evidence to show it will go up and down, but I will keep showing up, and being human. Happy Friday everyone."

US Tribies - My call times will change to be 1 hour later than they have been for you.
Group Coaching Call #1 - New York 3pm Monday
Group Coaching Call #2 - New York 5am Tuesday
All Tribies except US - Amanda's Call times will change to be 1 hour earlier than they have been for you.
Amanda Call #1 - Sydney 3am Friday / London 4pm Thursday
Amanda Call #2 - Sydney 12pm Friday / 1am London Friday
