Happy Monday Tribies,

It's week 4 of 31 Days of PracticeπŸ’ƒ 

This past week I've been reflecting on my own practice, not just these past 31 days but since mid last year when I shifted my mindset from weight focused to a practice of living the life I want.
That shift has created calmness and freedom around food for me.  
And I want that for you.

Calmness and freedom around food.

To give up dieting (which so many of us have done for decades), to give up the mind drama, the constant struggle in your brain, arguing with yourself, letting the scales rule your mood, and most of all, I want you to give up judging yourself, feeling ashamed and being mean to yourself. 

It's been so awesome witnessing so many of you making progress around this as you've been practicing. 
Creating calmness on holidays, setting plans and showing up to them, feeling your feelings during emotional times when your old self would have been eating all the things. 

I encourage you to continue to practice:
- The hunger scale
- Feeling your feelings. 

 These 2 practices are fundamentals to calmness and freedom around food.

Jo Heaps:

Day 19-March Challenge. Plan today was fast plan: LWC thoughts and focus on goals for this week. Sunday went a little off to the side - made great choices but had 3 big meals on Sunday - mainly protein and veg, just more than I have been allowing of  late. Interesting at each meal out (with friends with other ideas!!) all meals served with HUGE amounts of fried chips, even when I had asked for 'no chips' with each one!! Today - walk completed later in day: Protein and veg for dinner. Now reset for Tuesday, scales up slightly but measurements are still going down, feeling proud of my weekend outcomes.Old me would have been in a spin by Monday AM, I have my week plan and my steps to focus on.

Day 71 - March 20/31 - 22 days to Easter

So things didn’t expect go to plan over the weekend, however after some coaching from Lindell last week, had an expectation, but was mindful of the hunger scale. Factors to consider, still working through a  challenging situation, so there’s some stress on board. Attended an open bar for a birthday bash on Saturday night, rather then working through the cocktail list, I stuck to vodka, fresh lime and soda, my twist was trying different types of vodka. May have had a cheeky midnight snack on the way home πŸ˜‰ next day afternoon tea with extended family, one those lazy afternoons, with grazing platters with all the things, sweets and treats, followed by hot pastries, sausage rolls and frankfurts. Here’s the win, I didn’t eat a thing, couple of coffees and kept drinking water all afternoon. The drinks the night before was the exception, not the afternoon graze. I felt in control and not missing out

THIS WEEK I lost 1.1kgs

Short term goal: 15kgs by Easter

Loss since last weigh in: +700gms over 2 days

Total Loss: 10.5kgs

D20 - 31DoP I'm already stressed [thought] - I have to fit a lot in today. I have a plan - with times - so that I know roughly where I need to be at any given moment. My plan has me today πŸ₯°πŸ’žβ€

My weekend was better than old average - feeling proud,  my weight is the same this morning as it was Friday morning - actually, my weight doesn't matter as much as how I was feeling before I stepped on the scales - that feeling is the win πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Daylight Savings:

It's that time again, clocks around the world do crazy things going forwards and backwards at lot's of different times over the coming month. 
Here's the key changes that will happen:

This last weeks changes:
US Tribies - My call times changed to be 1 hour later than they have been for you. 
Group Coaching Call #1 - New York 3pm Monday
Group Coaching Call #2 - New York 5am Tuesday

All Tribies except US - Amanda's Call time has changed to be 1 hour earlier than they have been for you.
Amanda Call #1 - Sydney 3am Friday / London 4pm Thursday

Upcoming changes:
26th March - UK + Europe
2nd April - Australian + NZ
